R. Zabala is a traditional Basque cider (sagardoa) made from 20 native Basque apple varietals from 50 year old organic orchards. Native fermentation after direct press, then aged in ancient foudre of chesnut for 7 months; bottled unfined, and unfiltered.
R. Zabala has been dedicated to producing top-quality, natural cider for over 200 years. Their estate orchard is located in the foothills above San Sebastian in the town of Gipuzkoa. All their ciders are bottled un-fined and unfiltered. You may notice sediment. This is normal. Shake the bottle highly to reincorporate the sediment, pour a few ounces into a glass from a height of one foot to release its natural carbonation and enjoy!

We carry more ciders from Spain than anywhere else in the U.S. , including several Sidras de Asturias and Sagardoas from Basque Country. Or grab to get a mix of 6 or 12 bottles of cider from Spain.
